Solange Knowles Onboard With Armani Campaign

Solange Knowles will headline the new Giorgio Armani jeans promotional campaign. The singer/songwriter will begin her European press tour in London at the end of this month followed by Cannes in early August.
Knowles sophomore album, "Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams," is due August 26 via Music World/Geffen. First single, "I Decided," is currently no. 1 on the Hot Singles Sales and Hot Dance Singles Sales charts. She will embark on a worldwide tour in support of the album in the fall.
Knowles' 2003 debut, "Solo Star," via Music World/Columbia, reached No. 23 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and has sold 112,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen Soundscan.
