Oasis Inks North American Distro Deal

Oasis' Big Brother Recordings has signed a North American distribution deal with Warner Bros. Records. The first new release under the deal will be the band's forthcoming studio album, "Dig Out Your Soul," due Oct. 7.
As previously reported, the album will be preceded by the Noel Gallagher-penned single "The Shock Of The Lightning," which will street Sept. 29.
Recorded at Abbey Road, mixed in Los Angeles and featuring songs from all four band members, "Dig Out Your Soul" is the band's seventh studio album, and their first since "Don't Believe the Truth." That album has sold 201,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
