We7 Passes 2M Download Milestone

We7 has signed-up 100,000 registered users and delivered more than two million downloads, the ad-supported music download service reported today.
The downloads milestone comes just six weeks after the firm chalked up its first million, which took six months.
The London-based digital platform, which is backed by Peter Gabriel, among others, secured $6 million in funding last month and is targeting more "further growth ahead," say CEO Steve Purdham.
