U2's McGuinness To Keynote Midem Manager Summit December 06, 2007

U2 manager Paul McGuinness will deliver a keynote speech at the inaugural international manager summit, to take place Jan. 28-29 during the Midem trade fair in Cannes.
McGuinness and Bertis Downs, manager of R.E.M., are among the first names announced for the session. Downs will take part in a panel discussion.
The manager summit will comprise conferences and workshops, delving into such issues as the role of the manager within a 360-degree business structure, artist-branding, the adapting relationships between the manager and the artist.
The 42nd annual trade fair will run from Jan. 27 to 31, 2008.
