Grammy Campaign Kicks Off

The Recording Academy has brought on advertising agency TBWA\Chiat\Day to help launch "The Next 50 Is Here" campaign, which spotlights the upcoming 50th Annual Grammy Awards. The show is set to air live on CBS February 10.

A 60-second TV spot kicked off the campaign November 30 during the "My Night At The Grammys" special which presented the top 25 favorite Grammy moments, as voted on by viewers. The second phase of the campaign will begin in early January and include outdoor teases, magazine ads, radio and interactive, among other elements.

"The Next 50 is Here" campaign reminds the world that the Grammy Awards are the gold standard of music - and music influences our culture like no other art form," said Rob Schwartz, executive creative director of TBWA\Chiat\Day.
