Sound Box Studios Opens In San Antonio July 23, 2009

13th Floor Studios, producers of multiple television music shows including “Billboard Latino,” have opened a state-of-the-art audio recording and post-production studio in San Antonio, Tex. The Sound Box Studios is a partnership between 13th Floor and producer Claudio Leiva, who has worked as engineer and producer for a varied roster of acts that ranges from Los Tucanes de Tijuana and Akwid to Brown Boy and Superlitio.
The Sound Box Studios will focus its shop on high-end audio design for commercial spots, films, TV series and musical recordings. Aside from national television show “Billboard Latino,” 13th Floor has produced numerous music-themed television specials, including the Premios PREMMUSA as well as two weekly television shows: “Zonido,” devoted to rock and pop and “Tejano y Más,” devoted to Texan artists of all genres. Both those shows air locally on ABC.
