Faithless Unveils U.K. Arena Tour

August 19, 2010

By By Richard Smirke, London

British dance act Faithless will embark on a U.K. arena tour this fall to promote its latest studio set "The Dance" (Nate's Tunes).

The nine-date tour, promoted by SJM (DF Concerts in Scotland), begins Nov. 30 at Bournemouth BIC and wraps Dec. 11 at London's O2 Arena. The U.K. trek also calls in at Cardiff (Dec. 1), Nottingham (Dec. 3), Manchester (Dec. 4), Newcastle (Dec. 6) and Glasgow (Dec. 7), among others.

Earlier this year, "The Dance" entered the Official U.K. Charts Co. albums listings at No. 2 with 30,000 sales. The veteran act's sixth studio set was released on the group's own Nate's Tunes label, with its physical retail release handled exclusively by leading U.K. mass merchant Tesco.

More recently the band - who was previously signed to Sony BMG - partnered with Italian car manufacturer Fiat on a promotional video for the new Faithless video "Feelin' Good," which features vocals from British singer-songwriter Dido (Billboard.biz, Aug. 9).
