Country star Alan Jackson's new album "Freight Train" (Sony Music Nashville) is set for release March 30. The 12-song album was produced by longtime collaborator Keith Stegall and features eight songs with Jackson's writing credit. The album also features Lee Ann Womack who joins Jackson for a duet of Vern Gosdin's "Till the End."

The first single from the album, "It's Just That Way," bullets at No. 32 this week, its fifth week on the Hot Country Songs chart. The track was released digitally to online retailers on Tuesday (Jan. 12).

Jackson hits the road for a brief stint next week. He starts a four-city Canadian tour on Jan. 21, followed by a concert at the San Antonio Rodeo on Feb. 17 and then he's on to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on March 2.

Jackson's 2008 album "Good Time" has sold 971,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan. He's sold more than 50 million albums and has 34 No. 1 singles, 24 of which he wrote himself, according to a press release.
