Clive Davis sat with Billboard editorial director Bill Werde on Wednesday (Nov. 4) for an exclusive one-on-one conversation as part of an event commemorating the 35th anniversary of Davis? Arista Records imprint. At the invitation-only event, which was held at the Rosenthal Pavillion at New York University, and organized by NYU's Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music, Davis talked about his approach to creative projects, his collaborations with legendary artists, and his methodology of matching hit songs to star performers.
