Latin urban artists Lil Rob, MC Magic, Down ("Lean Like a Cholo"), Brown Boy, Kid Frost, Lighter Shade of Brown, La La and Lil Uno are scheduled to kick off the Latin Lockdown tour Jan. 17.

The concert at the Ventura Theatre in Ventura, Calif., will be hosted by radio station KCAQ and is expected to be one of about 20 Latin Lockdown dates in 2009, according to Streetlight Entertainment CEO Tory Harrelson (aka Flossy).

Harrelson says the above-named artists will be staples throughout the tour, but that different cities may feature additional artists. A planned date at the Hudson Theatre in Riverside, Calif., on Feb. 21, will also have Baby Bash on the bill, says Harrelson.

The tour is co-promoted by Streetlight Entertainment and Colossal Entertainment.
