Ricordi London, a unit of Universal Music Publishing Classical, has named Jonathon Bird GM.
Bird has extensive experience with Universal Music Group International, serving at Decca Music Group as licensing manager and then at Universal Music Classics & Jazz International as repertoire manager.
He reports to Paul Connolly, president of Europe/M.D. U.K. for Universal Music Publishing Group.
Ricordi represents the catalogs of Casa Ricordi Milan, Ricordi Munich, and Durand-Salabert-Eschig in Paris, and has its own roster of composers, representing the likes of Jonathan Cole, Ross Edwards and Graham Fitkin, among others.
