Orchard To Distribute WU Music Group Catalog September 10, 2008

Hip-hop collective Wu-Tang Clan has announced a deal with digital distributor the Orchard to distribute and market its WU Music Group catalog worldwide.
In addition to forthcoming material, the catalog includes 13 previous releases that have been unavailable digitally, including recordings by Wu-Tang Clan, U God, Wu-Syndicate, Killarmy, Shyheim, West Coast Killa Beez, Black Knights and others. It will be available worldwide beginning on Sept. 23.
The Orchard and Wu-Tang are also launching the WU Music Mobile Fan Club, which will be powered by Mozes and provide subscribers with exclusive news updates, release information, contests and more. The group is also re-launching its Web site and launching a Kyte TV online video channel.
Finally, newly available WU Music Group content, such as album and single downloads, master tones and ringback tones, were made available yesterday (Sept. 9) exclusively to Verizon Wireless subscribers direct from the V CAST Music Store, and can be purchased worldwide from The Orchard's digital network beginning Sept. 23.
