Hip-Hop Journalism Association To Launch Convention

The Hip-Hop Journalism Association (HHJA) is holding their first conference and convention on October 19-20 in Miami. The event features film screenings, discussion groups and workshops swirling around the conference's theme, integrity in hip-hop journalism.
BET.com executive editor Kim Osorio, hip-hop journalist and NPR commentator Jimi Izrael, Emmy Award winning author and producer P. Frank Williams and hip-hop scholar and author Dr. Edgar Tyson are among the gathering's speakers.
HHJA is a professional membership organization of journalists, students, and media professionals whose mission is to improve the quality and integrity of hip-hop journalism.
