Palmieri Celebrates Career Milestone At Latin Jazz Fest

Eddie Palmieri will headline this year's Los Angeles Latin Jazz Festival, one of two Latin music festivals to be presented this year at L.A.'s Greek Theatre by promoter Eddie Rodriguez' Latin Works Music in association with Nederlander Concerts.
The May 10 event features Palmieri, who is celebrating 50 years of his career, and former members of the Tito Puente Orchestra led by Johnny Rodriguez and Jose Madera.
Latin Works Music also promotes the annual L.A. Salsa Festival at the Greek. The Latin Jazz Festival was held at various Southern California venues for five years but is returning this year as a result of attendance to last September’s salsa event, which drew nearly 4,000 people according to Rodriguez.
The L.A. Salsa Festival is returning Aug. 23 this year.
