B.B. King Club To Cut Ticket Prices For Unemployed
December 18, 2008 - Touring

By Mitchell Peters, L.A.

Times have been tough for those who have been laid off from their jobs in recent months, but the B.B. King Blues Club in New York is doing its part to ease their troubles.

For the month of February, the venue is cutting all ticket prices for evening concerts by 50% for those who present an unemployment check and photo ID at the box office. Only 50 half-price tickets will be available per show, and the offer is only valid for people who physically show up at the box office.

February concerts at B.B. King Blues Club in Times Square include Angie Stone, the Cannabis Cup Reggae Band, Ralph Stanley, Maxi Priest, Broadway Underground and Blackstreet, among others.
