Songs from legendary singer-actor Pedro Infante's classic Mexican movies are now available as ringtones via publisher CDA Group and Agave Mobile. Fifteen movie song clips by Infante are distributed by Mexican carrier TelCel, whose Ideas TelCel store will feature the content on-deck, says Agave Mobile CEO Grant Goad.
The ringtones are also available on the four major wireless carriers in the U.S., as well as Boost and Virgin Mobile and off-deck store Thumbplay. The Infante offering also includes wallpapers from his movie posters and publicity shots.
CDA Group is run by former Universal Music Publishing senior VP for Latin America Ivan Alvarez, while Agave Mobile is formed by former MisRolas.com entrepreneurs Grant Goad, Mauricio Delgado and Hugo Gonzalez.
